What we expect from candidates, in addition to deep knowledge of PHP:

experience in designing and developing modern high-load web projects;

good understanding of OOP principles and patterns;

understanding the differences and scope of various types of DBMS;

experience with one of the frameworks (Yii2, Symfony, Laravel or Zend);

knowledge of English at a level not lower than reading technical documentation;

ability to write unit tests;

ability to work in a team, to explain and describe complex things in simple words;

understanding of the basics of Linux, configuration and basic administration;

knowledge and understanding of Git, the ability to answer the question of how rebase differs from merge;

understanding of the principles of SOA, REST, SOAP, microservice architecture;

English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher, with good writing skills.
